To foster deeper appreciation of India's rich cultural heritage, a plethora of activities were conducted on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. The creative activities actively engaged the students, ensuringan experience of richness of Indiantraditions alongside enhancing their knowledge. In a special assembly the tiny-tots of Nur -KG presented an enchantment on return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya. Classes I-Vdecorated their class corridors with rangoli and diyas. Beautiful wall hangings and kandeels were made by classes VI-VIII that were displayed in the reception area. Inter house rangoli competition was conducted for classes IX to XII where Bharat house stood first and Dhruv housesecured second position. The school building illuminated with warm,festive glow that showcased our school’s vibrant spirit making it a special place during Diwali.
स्वभाव स्वच्छता - संस्कार स्वच्छता
To commemorate the birth anniversary of the ‘Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi’ and the third ‘Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri’ the students of LPS Eldeco set up a ‘Cleanliness Target Unit’ on the periphery of the school premises, for the campaign Sampoorna Swachhata through Shramdaan.
This year 02 October is to be celebrated as Swachh Bharat Diwas 2024. Students and staff of the school took a pledge to keep the school, home and neighbourhood clean and green.

Integrating sports in the curriculum fosters holistic development, promotes physical and psychological well-being and the learners adopt fitness as a lifelong attitude. To encourage physical and mental fitness, Inter House Chess, Carrom and Table-Tennis competitions were conducted in our school on the PTM Day, 28.09.2024. The students of Primary, Junior and Senior wing participated in the competitions with zeal and enthusiasm, showcasing their talent, team work and sportsmanship. Dhruv House secured first position, Bharat House second and Karan House stood third. The event brought together, students from different houses, creating a sense of camaraderie and healthy competition.

The primary objective of World Tourism Day is to raise awareness on the role of tourism within the international community and to demonstrate how it affects socio-cultural, political and economic values countrywide.
The tiny tots of LPS Eldeco presented the rich cultural heritage of India, in the special assembly conducted on 27.09.2024. By celebrating this day, we seek to emphasise that tourism isn’t just about revenue; it is also about fostering connections, understanding diverse cultures and promoting sustainable practices.

A floral tribute was given on 21.09.2024 to pay our heartfelt homage and gratitude to the divine soul, our Founder Manager Shri C. P. Singh Sir, a great visionary and educationist. हिन्दी दिवस के परिप्रेक्ष्य में दिनांक 9 सितंबर 24 से दिनांक14 सितंबर2024 तक लखनऊ पब्लिक स्कूल की एल्डिको शाखा में हिंदी सप्ताह का आयोजन किया गया। दिनांक 9 सितंबर 24 को प्रथम और द्वितीय कक्षा के छोटे बच्चों द्वारा बहुत ही मनमोहक रूप में हिंदी अक्षरों द्वारा आत्म परिचय का प्रदर्शन किया l
विद्यार्थियों की अभिव्यक्ति क्षमता, तर्क शक्ति, शब्द निरूपण और वक्तृत्व कला के संवर्धन ज्ञान के प्रति स्वाभाविक आग्रह, उत्साह के सहित रहे, इस उद्देश्य सेहिंदी सप्ताह के दूसरे दिन 10 सितंबर 2024 प्रथम और द्वितीय कक्षा के लिए श्रुतलेख, कक्षा तृतीय से लेकर के पंचम तक चित्र वर्णन, कक्षा षष्ठ से अष्टम तक वर्ग पहेली तथा कक्षा नवम और दशम के बच्चों में अनुच्छेद लेखन का आयोजन किया गया।
11 सितंबर2024 को विद्यालय के सभी सदनों के कक्षा षष्ठ से लेकर अष्टम तक के बच्चों के बीच में लघु कविता की प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया और बच्चों ने अपनी सृजन क्षमता से सभी का मन मोह लिया। 12 सितंबर 2024 को कक्षा तृतीय से पंचम तक के विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी हिंदी वक्तृत्व कला"भाषा का महत्व" पर हिंदी वाग्मिता कार्यक्रम पूरे उत्साह और आत्मविश्वास के साथ प्रदर्शित किया ।
13 सितंबर 2024 को नर्सरीऔर केजी के नन्हें विद्यार्थियों द्वारा हिंदी में स्वर गीत का मधुर गायन हुआ। हिंदी भाषा दिवस अर्थात 14 सितंबर 2024 को नवम से लेकर कक्षा द्वादश तक सभी सदन प्रतियोगितामें बच्चों ने हिंदी के महान साहित्यकारों का परिचय प्रस्तुत किया। राष्ट्रभाषा सप्ताह को एक आनंद उत्सव का रूप में मनIया गया।
‘Promoting multilingual education: Literacy for mutual understanding and peace’ is the theme for 2024.
Literacy, a fundamental human right, opens the door to the enjoyment of other human rights. Our school celebrated World Literacy day on 07.09.2024, Saturday. The Nurseryclass completed the letters A-Z in their exercise books and KG beautifully wrote ‘Our Country is India’ in their Learn it all book. Classes I & IImade books marks to encourage reading habit, Classes III-Vparticipated in spell bee from their literature lessons and crosswords puzzlesbased on the parts of speech were attempted by the students of Classes VI -VIII.
The students of Classes IX & X wrote अनुच्छेद ‘पढ़ेगा इंडिया तभी तो बढ़ेगा इंडिया’ and classes XI & XII wrote an article on ‘Right to education act 2009’. The activities were aimed towards highlighting the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights.

On Teacher's Day, LPS Eldeco held a special assembly where students expressed gratitude to their educators. Students from classes I & II gave a heartfelt performance on the role of teachers, while classes IX-XII presented a humorous skit about school life. A dance by students from classes VI-VIII honored teachers as mentors and role models. The event concluded with fun games for teachers, enjoyed by both the participants and cheering students.

On 24th August 2024, LPS Eldeco celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with a vibrant assembly. Nursery and KG students, dressed as Krishna, Radha, and Gopikas, brought joy and festivity to the event. The celebration featured dance dramas on Krishna's life, devotional songs, and a dandiya dance by girls from classes V and VI, highlighting the message that every moment in life is worth celebrating. Janmashtami marks the end of darkness with the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu.

LPS Eldeco celebrated the 78th Independence Day with pride and enthusiasm. From 13th to 15th August 2024, the school participated in the ‘हर घर तिरंगा’ initiative. On 15th August, the event began with the National flag unfurling, followed by the National Anthem and a heartfelt speech by the head girl. The cultural program included a patriotic dance by Nursery and KG students, a performance by classes I & II, and a powerful नुक्कड़ नाटक titled ‘क्या है देश भक्ति?’. Musical yoga by classes VI-X and a ‘सत्यमेव जयते’ performance by classes VIII-XI honored India’s heritage. The Principal’s speech highlighted the importance of education in building a brighter future, and the head boy closed the event with a patriotic 'Udgosh'.
Operation Vijay: A Saga of Supreme Sacrifice
To celebrate India’s victory in the Kargil war and to pay tribute to the soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice, Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated in LPS Eldeco on 26 July 2024.
The students and staff commemorated the day by paying homage to the brave hearts who laid down their lives, to safeguard the borders of our country. The tiny tots presented an action song dressed as soldiers who are the symbol of courage and service before self. The entire atmosphere reverberated with patriotic fervour when the students sang an inspirational elocution titled ‘Hum hain Bharat ke veer jawan’.

In the realm of educational Institutions, ceremonies play a vital role in shaping the school culture and fostering a sense of belonging among students and teachers. The investiture ceremony 2024-25 was conducted on 06.05.2024 to recognize and nurture leadership qualities in the students. The student council, house captains, vice-captains and prefects were handed over badges and sashes that serve as visible representations of the bestowed responsibilities. It encourages them to uphold the school’s values, discipline and academic standards, thereby strengthening the school’s learning environment.
"VAN MAHOTSAV - The Festival of Forests."
LPS Eldeco celebrated Van Mahotsav from 1st to 7th July 2024 to honor and show love for the environment. On 1st July, Nursery and KG students planted saplings as part of the school's green initiative. An Inter-House Green Quiz for classes VI-VIII was held on 2nd July to promote environmental awareness. On 4th July, classes I and II presented a group elocution emphasizing the importance of trees, while students from classes III-V performed a thought-provoking skit during a special assembly on 5th July. The celebration concluded with the entire school taking a green pledge on 6th July, committing to sustainable practices.
Theme for 2024 :Yoga for self and Society
On 21st June 2024, LPS Eldeco celebrated the 10th International Yoga Day, with teachers and students practicing yoga to promote harmony between mind, body, and spirit. The event emphasized maintaining balance in daily life and enhancing performance skills. Additionally, the Sub Junior Girls and Rhythmic Yoga Boys team of the primary wing secured second place, receiving trophies and certificates at the 9th Intercampus Yogameet 2024, hosted by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram campus.
Mother's day is the celebration of motherhood; honouringthe mother of the family and her influence in society. She who scores above all relationships in this mortal life, with her truly priceless love, dedication and devotion towards her family, is a MOTHER.
On second Sunday of May, 12.05.2024 we at LPS Eldeco celebrated mother's love, an endless well of strength, courage, compassion and the fuel that enables us to achieve the impossible. Mothers of primary classes enthusiastically participated in various events organized for them e.g. flower decoration, healthy tiffin competition, storytelling, card making and fun games. The day ended with everyone enjoying delicious snacks and spent quality time together.
“Per Humanitatem ad Pacem”, the organisation’s motto translates to “With Humanity towards Peace”. To encourage and imbibe the values of compassion, solidarity and humanity among students, many activities were conducted in LPS Eldeco on 08.05.2024 on World Red Cross Day. The students of classes III-V presented a heart touching group elocution on ‘Helping our elders’. Classes VI-VIII made first aid box as part of their class activity. An awareness campaign was conducted by the classes IX-XII within the school premises, on organ and blood donation. The day served as an opportunity to highlight vital humanitarian values.
Let’s make every day, EARTH DAY
Earth Day was celebrated on 22 nd April 2024 in our school to support our unwavering commitment to protect the environment. A wide range of activities were conducted to create awareness regarding environmental issues that the world faces today and their remedies.Classes Nur – KG planted saplings towards clean and green school environment. Classes I and II
presented Panchatantra Stories with moral values. Special assembly was conducted by the students of classes III-V on Save Earth, Save Life. A beautiful poem was recited by the students of classes III & IV. A green quiz was conducted by class V after a well presented ‘Do you know’. The assembly aimed towards creating consciousness of environmentalism and its conservation.
LPS Eldeco celebrated World Heritage Day on 18.04.24 to leave footprints of history on the pages of sands of time. A special assembly was conducted that focussed on heritage’s meaning and the need to conserve and preserve it. The students explained the various heritage buildings and sites selected as the Seven Wonders of the World. A quiz was organised in which questions related to heritage sites in India were asked and students responded well. The day brought a meaningful learning experience for all the students.
A successful parent-teacher partnership paves the way for the holistic development of the young learners. Parent Orientation Programme was organised on 16.03.2024 for classes Nur – II, 18.03.2024 for classes III – V, 22.03.2024 for classes VI- IX & XI and on 07.04.2024 for all the students and parents joining the LPS family in the session 2024-25. It provided
an opportunity to welcome the parents into the educational setting and teaching methodologies and build trust and support with them.
We at LPS Eldeco acknowledge and value the involvement of the parents in the decision making process by seeking their input for their child’s education, within and beyond the classrooms.
‘My Health, My Right’
In conformity with the theme of 2024 on World Health Day, the students of LPS Eldeco participated in plethora of activities on 06.04.2024, Saturday to promote better health for everyone. Classes Nur & KG enjoyed a class fruit party. Classes I & II presented a show and tell to encourage all to eat fruits and vegetables on daily basis. Classes III- V made creative posters on ‘Importance of balanced diet’ to acknowledge how eating healthy makes them feel good and energized. Brain storming ideas on how to bring attention to ‘Eat healthy and Stay fit’ were creatively presented through poems and jingles by the students of classes VI – VIII. A health campaign to improve community mental health, students of classes IX, X & XII wrote expressive articles on ‘Importance of daily exercise in mental well-being.’ This year marks the 76 th anniversary of World Health Organisation.

It is time to welcome another amazing academic year packed with exciting opportunities. From thrilling experiments to fascinating debates, we will immerse ourselves in a world of learning to pique the interest and fuel the passion of our students. A special assembly was conducted on 01.04.2024, Monday where the students of junior wing presented a melodious welcome song and the students of primary wing danced on foot tapping music creating a happy and energetic school environment, on the first day of the new session. Students of Nur & KG were given a campus tour to build a sense of oneness with the school. The tiny tots enjoyed their readiness programme with rhyme time, colouring
activity, music and dance. Let us get ready to work together towards a year of academic growth, holistic learning and happy memories!
