“Per Humanitatem ad Pacem”, the organisation’s motto translates to “With Humanity towards Peace”. To encourage and imbibe the values of compassion, solidarity and humanity among students, many activities were conducted in LPS Eldeco on 08.05.2024 on World Red Cross Day. The students of classes III-V presented a heart touching group elocution on ‘Helping our elders’. Classes VI-VIII made first aid box as part of their class activity. An awareness campaign was conducted by the classes IX-XII within the school premises, on organ and blood donation. The day served as an opportunity to highlight vital humanitarian values.
Let’s make every day, EARTH DAY
Earth Day was celebrated on 22 nd April 2024 in our school to support our unwavering commitment to protect the environment. A wide range of activities were conducted to create awareness regarding environmental issues that the world faces today and their remedies.Classes Nur – KG planted saplings towards clean and green school environment. Classes I and II
presented Panchatantra Stories with moral values. Special assembly was conducted by the students of classes III-V on Save Earth, Save Life. A beautiful poem was recited by the students of classes III & IV. A green quiz was conducted by class V after a well presented ‘Do you know’. The assembly aimed towards creating consciousness of environmentalism and its conservation.
LPS Eldeco celebrated World Heritage Day on 18.04.24 to leave footprints of history on the pages of sands of time. A special assembly was conducted that focussed on heritage’s meaning and the need to conserve and preserve it. The students explained the various heritage buildings and sites selected as the Seven Wonders of the World. A quiz was organised in which questions related to heritage sites in India were asked and students responded well. The day brought a meaningful learning experience for all the students.
A successful parent-teacher partnership paves the way for the holistic development of the young learners. Parent Orientation Programme was organised on 16.03.2024 for classes Nur – II, 18.03.2024 for classes III – V, 22.03.2024 for classes VI- IX & XI and on 07.04.2024 for all the students and parents joining the LPS family in the session 2024-25. It provided
an opportunity to welcome the parents into the educational setting and teaching methodologies and build trust and support with them.
We at LPS Eldeco acknowledge and value the involvement of the parents in the decision making process by seeking their input for their child’s education, within and beyond the classrooms.
‘My Health, My Right’
In conformity with the theme of 2024 on World Health Day, the students of LPS Eldeco participated in plethora of activities on 06.04.2024, Saturday to promote better health for everyone. Classes Nur & KG enjoyed a class fruit party. Classes I & II presented a show and tell to encourage all to eat fruits and vegetables on daily basis. Classes III- V made creative posters on ‘Importance of balanced diet’ to acknowledge how eating healthy makes them feel good and energized. Brain storming ideas on how to bring attention to ‘Eat healthy and Stay fit’ were creatively presented through poems and jingles by the students of classes VI – VIII. A health campaign to improve community mental health, students of classes IX, X & XII wrote expressive articles on ‘Importance of daily exercise in mental well-being.’ This year marks the 76 th anniversary of World Health Organisation.
‘New Beginnings, New Adventures’
It is time to welcome another amazing academic year packed with exciting opportunities. From thrilling experiments to fascinating debates, we will immerse ourselves in a world of learning to pique the interest and fuel the passion of our students. A special assembly was conducted on 01.04.2024, Monday where the students of junior wing presented a melodious welcome song and the students of primary wing danced on foot tapping music creating a happy and energetic school environment, on the first day of the new session. Students of Nur & KG were given a campus tour to build a sense of oneness with the school. The tiny tots enjoyed their readiness programme with rhyme time, colouring
activity, music and dance. Let us get ready to work together towards a year of academic growth, holistic learning and happy memories!
